FYI, this story is more than a year old

Snowflake has once again approved Talend as a Ready Technology Validation Partner, demonstrating that Talend adheres to its best practices in performance, reliability and security.

In addition, Talend has achieved Snowflake’s Elite tier partner status as it continues to support data workers to get the most out of data in Snowflake and drive trusted business decisions.

“Talend and Snowflake provide organisations with the ability to govern and share data, enable self-service analytics, and ease cloud and data modernisation,” says Andy Smith, Global Tech Alliances Senior Director, Talend.

“This latest validation demonstrates Talend’s ongoing commitment to Snowflake and the company’s steady innovation to support agile, high-performing data processing in the Snowflake Data Cloud.”

Talend Trust Score for Snowflake allows users to verify the quality of their data inside Data Cloud.

Further, Snowflake customers can easily increase their performance and accuracy by running quality checks on entire data sets without the use of external applications or moving sample sets.

It also addresses data privacy and sovereignty concerns by keeping processing inside Snowflake so no data leaves the environment.

“The combination of Talend and Snowflake technologies enables joint customers to get real-time access to trusted data and achieve greater business outcomes,” adds Tarik Dwiek, Head of Technology Alliances, Snowflake.

“Talend’s Elite status demonstrates the commitment they have to ensuring customers benefit from leading-edge technologies to succeed with their data and cloud transformation.”

In addition, Mental Health Concern, a UK-based non-profit dedicated to providing free mental health services, is using Talend and Snowflake to deliver integrated, healthy data for decision-making.

The organisation needed a single, scalable, reliable source of truth to evolve quickly without disruption.

As a result, Mental Health Concern is now able to connect multiple systems and data sources to make reliable information more accessible and trustworthy for stakeholders throughout the organisation.

“Talend and Snowflake provide integrated, trustworthy data that now guides our core decisions,” says John Slator, Head of Data and Insights at Mental Health Concern & Insight IAPT.

“Stakeholders across the company as well as therapists who work directly with patients have access to reliable information easily.”

The Snowflake approval comes after Talend announced HCF has been driving its cloud data modernisation initiatives with Talend technology.

The Talend implementation is said to have successfully improved HCFs overall agility, trust in data-driven decision-making, and efficiency across the organisation to serve its customers better.

HCF is now in the second phase of its digital transformation, where it is implementing AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics into the BI generation and reporting process to mitigate risk and improve business strategies.

Four years ago, the company says it began its data modernisation push with a focus on using its data in innovative ways to improve the quality of care for its 1.8 million members. It also set out to analyse the affordability and value of its services and drive organisational growth.
