Andrew Foster appointed as Forterro's VP of Sales for northern Europe
Wed, 17th Apr 2024

Andrew Foster, an experienced figure in the enterprise tech sector, has been appointed as the new Vice President of Sales for northern Europe at Forterro, a European provider of ERP software solutions for the mid-market industrial sector.

This appointment comes as Forterro, which assists mid-market manufacturers throughout the UK and Europe to improve sectors such as logistics, supply chain, and warehousing, aims to escalate growth and success with digital transformation for its customers.

Prior to joining Forterro, Foster served at Bentley Systems, where he helmed a team dealing with some of the company's largest accounts, both worldwide and within northern Europe. He has also held multiple leadership positions with manufacturing and construction software specialists, Symetri (previously Excitech Ltd).

Foster's responsibilities at Forterro will include leading an experienced sales team across the UK and Sweden. His task is to reinforce the company’s growth while navigating clients through successful digital transformations. "With years of expertise behind it, Forterro is well placed as the partner of choice for customers on their digital transformation journey. I’m looking forward to contributing to our customers' success and helping Forterro continue on its upward trajectory," said Foster.

Over the past decade, Forterro has diversified from being a provider of on-premises ERP solutions in the Nordics to becoming a multi-product, pan-European company with a focus on the cloud. This growth has been primarily facilitated by organic development and the acquisition of top-tier software. Within its portfolio in northern Europe are products like 123Insight, Jeeves ERP, and Orderwise.

In the previous year, Forterro reported an increasing trend of customers transitioning their on-premises ERP applications to the cloud - a shift the company predicts will continue in 2024 as more customers aim to leverage the benefits of a cloud environment.

Steve Fearon, President, Northern Europe, Forterro, commented on Foster’s appointment and the company’s future plans. “Forterro is transforming from a collection of acquired businesses into one unified organisation, combining its resources and accelerating its investment in cloud. Andrew will unite the sales teams across the region and help us meet the demand from customers looking to strengthen their operations. We are delighted to have him on board,” said Fearon.
