Dubai-based cloud enterprise applications provider, IFS, has appointed Vijay Jaswal as its new Chief Technology Officer for the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) and Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Jaswal brings more than 25 years of business technology process excellence experience, having previously served as Chief Technology Officer of Middle East, Turkey & Africa for Software AG for over 17 years. Speaking on the appointment, Vincent Carvalho, President, APJ&MEA, IFS, highlighted the importance of the APJ&MEA markets for IFS and Jaswal's skills in presenting the business value of technology effectively to business audiences. In his new role, Jaswal will work on customer engagement, helping customers and prospects to create 'Moments of Service' by streamlining interactions to derive maximum value. He will also be responsible for illustrating IFS's marketing capabilities to customers and how it can add value.
