FYI, this story is more than a year old

Martin Dubé has been appointed as Vice President, Sales APJ — effective immediately.

Dubé will succeed Sandeep Bhargava, who moves to a global role as Global Head of Solutions and Services.

In his new appointment, Dubé will be responsible for cementing Rackspace Technology as the partner of choice for multicloud services and emerging technology models across APJ, while building a great workplace that attracts and develops the best talent in the ICT industry.

Dubé will drive Rackspace Technology growth across the region, establishing strong local teams with a passion for customer-centricity, innovation, and collaboration.

He joins Rackspace Technology with over 28 years of technology experience working in Singapore, Australia and China, with various APJ Leadership roles at Oracle, Panasonic, Cisco, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, CapGemini and Ernst & Young.

“What a great opportunity to join Rackspace Technology with the prioritised focus on Public and Private Cloud,” Dubé says.

It is a time of change and opportunity to expand further into the enterprise business across APJ without losing focus on current commercial opportunities.

This is a wonderful prospect, working alongside our hyperscaler partners to seize vast opportunities by supporting and enabling our customer business outcomes for success in APJ.

“I am pleased to come on board to support and lead the teams in their journey. It is a privilege to start this new role at Rackspace Technology, and I am looking forward to this opportunity both in scale and challenge.”

Sandeep Bhargava's move will see him take the company’s cloud services portfolio to the next level of evolution, focusing on customers’ engagement with public cloud.

“Rackspace Technology has a history of disrupting our own services models and that mindset continues to drive innovation right through our solutions business,” Bhargava says.

I am excited to take on this new role, creating cloud-native services and offerings to allow our customers new solutions and features, moving beyond lift and shift, towards cloud-ready solutions”.

Dubé will be based in the Sydney, Australia office.
