Huawei launched the Ideos, which it describes as an affordablesmartphone running on Android 2.2, across Europe, North America andLatin America in early September.
Back then Huawei said it's "currently in talks with Australian and NewZealand operators about local distribution". Looks like 2degrees came upwith the best offer.
The firm says it will be New Zealand's first Android 2.2 device, which will go on sale from November 1st for $379.
2degrees says that only the blue and pink units will be available in New Zealand.
