Alcatel-Lucent unveils Private 5G solution with Celona tech

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has announced the introduction of its Private 5G solution, enhanced by technology from Celona, aimed at improving IoT connectivity in enterprise environments.

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's recent release of a Private 5G solution promises enhanced connectivity particularly suited for complex enterprise settings and large outdoor areas.

This integration with ALE's existing product range, including OmniVista, OmniSwitch and OmniAccess Stellar, is designed to ensure secure, high-quality connectivity.

This collaboration with Celona highlights a significant development in enterprise connectivity solutions, intended to improve reliability, performance, and security for critical operations under challenging conditions globally.

The technological capabilities of ALE's Private 5G solution cater to industries that require ultra-reliable connectivity.

These sectors include manufacturing, logistics, and transportation, as well as environments like refineries and airport aprons. The solution offers wide-ranging wireless coverage and supports high-speed mobility needed for real-time, critical industrial applications.

This advancement supports the integration of IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies, facilitating the connection of next-generation industrial devices and applications. This includes support for autonomous guided vehicles, robotics, HD video analytics, as well as augmented and virtual reality applications, which require robust wireless connections.

Private 5G will be integrated with ALE's existing network solutions to ensure consistent coverage across diverse operational sites, including industrial spaces, offices, and campuses.
