Indosat & Garuda Indonesia partner for digital transformation
Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Garuda Indonesia have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at driving digital transformation within Indonesia's aviation and tourism sectors. The agreement seeks to leverage the latest technological innovations to enhance operational quality, optimize ancillary revenue, and provide personalized passenger experiences. The collaboration has garnered support from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenparekraf).
A signing ceremony was held at Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison's headquarters in Jakarta, attended by Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, and Irfan Setiaputra, President and CEO of Garuda Indonesia. The event was witnessed by representatives from Kemenparekraf and Sandeep Chakravorty, the Indian Ambassador to Indonesia.
The initiative aims to integrate advanced technology to improve service quality across the aviation and tourism sectors. Garuda Indonesia, as a full-service airline, plans to investigate various applications of these technologies to boost operational efficiency, increase ancillary revenues, and offer more personalized travel experiences. This strategic collaboration is expected to provide added value not only to Garuda Indonesia and its customers but also to position Indosat as a leader in the application of advanced technology in these industries.
