After bringing usage meter problems to the attention of Orcon yesterday, the company has said that it has halted counting for those affected.
“We are aware of issues with our usage meter counting incorrectly,” the company said in a status update.
“We have halted counting for those affected and will be zero-rating any inaccurate usage.
“We know that there have been similar issues recently. We are in the process of redesigning this system to eliminate these errors. Apologies for any inconvenience.”
Users have reported that their broadband usage meter is showing as in the negative (eg: -5GB).
Update: Looks like the issue has now been resolved.
