Powertec has been named Nextivity's Top APAC Distribution Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.

The award recognises Powertec's role as a distributor of Nextivity's CEL-FI in-building mobile coverage products across Asia-Pacific. It works with resellers, integrators, carriers and enterprise customers on indoor mobile connectivity projects in sectors including commercial property, industry, housing, healthcare, education, hospitality and transport.

Powertec operates across Australia, New Zealand and other Asia-Pacific markets, focusing on wireless communications, networking, connectivity and in-building mobile coverage. Alongside product supply, it provides technical design assistance, training and deployment support to channel partners and customers.

The latest award highlights a partnership between Powertec and Nextivity that has been in place for several years. It also reflects continued demand for systems designed to improve mobile coverage inside buildings and other environments where signal quality can be inconsistent.

Regional Role

Indoor mobile coverage is a growing area of investment for businesses and institutions that rely on stable mobile service for staff, visitors and operations. Distributors such as Powertec sit between vendors and end users, supplying equipment and helping channel partners deploy systems in varied settings across the region.

Over the past four years, Powertec says it has expanded its partner network and built technical expertise to support deployments in challenging environments. That work has included projects spanning urban commercial sites as well as more complex industrial and public-sector locations.

Eric Albina, General Manager of Powertec Telecommunications, linked the award to the company's regional channel relationships.

"Receiving this award for the fourth consecutive year is an outstanding achievement and a reflection of the dedication of our entire team and the strong relationships we've built with our reseller partners across the region," said Eric Albina, General Manager of Powertec Telecommunications.

He also pointed to the company's ongoing work with Nextivity products.

"We're incredibly proud of what we've achieved together with Nextivity and remain committed to helping organisations overcome mobile coverage challenges with proven, carrier-approved solutions backed by local expertise and support," said Albina.

Partner Network

Nextivity develops the CEL-FI product line, which is used to improve mobile signal coverage in homes, businesses, public venues and enterprise settings. In the Asia-Pacific market, distribution partners play a key role in extending that product range to installers, resellers and integrators that manage local deployments.

The award suggests Powertec remains one of Nextivity's most prominent regional distributors in sales execution and partner support. It also points to the importance vendors place on local technical knowledge and after-sales assistance when selling communications equipment into fragmented markets across the region.

Tom Cooper, Vice President of Sales Oceania & APAC for Nextivity, said the company valued the consistency of the relationship.

"Powertec has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment to our customers, partners and the Nextivity brand throughout the APAC region," said Tom Cooper, Vice President of Sales Oceania & APAC for Nextivity.

He said the repeated award reflected the breadth of the company's work.

"Winning this award for four consecutive years reflects the team's technical expertise, customer focus and ability to deliver outstanding results across a diverse range of industries. We value our partnership with Powertec and look forward to continuing our shared success," said Cooper.

Powertec says demand for dependable indoor mobile connectivity continues to rise across Asia-Pacific, particularly as organisations seek more reliable communications inside offices, hospitals, transport sites and other large facilities. It remains focused on supporting channel partners with local support and technical assistance throughout the region.
