StarHub unveils 5G Unlimited+ with unlimited data, no contract
StarHub has launched a new suite of mobile plans known as 5G Unlimited+ Plans in Singapore. These plans combine unlimited 5G local data, global roaming, scam protection and device credits. They are offered without a contract requirement.
Unlimited data
The 5G Unlimited+ Plans provide unlimited local data, calls and SMS, aimed at removing concerns over exceeding limits or unexpected charges. This approach targets Singaporeans looking for simplicity and transparency in their mobile expenses. StarHub is presenting these features in response to customer feedback on value, quality, and coverage expectations.

Coverage abroad
All four 5G Unlimited+ plan options-Lite, Core, Plus and Max-are designed to cater to different usage needs, including for users who travel frequently. The plans extend unlimited roaming calls and SMS across 165 destinations, with data included in every package. Roaming starts the moment users land abroad, with the intention of reducing friction for travellers.
Flexibility offered
The absence of contracts means customers are free to change or upgrade their plan as their needs evolve. StarHub is positioning this feature to appeal to users who want flexibility without penalties or lock-in periods. The plans also offer multi-line discounts, with the fourth line provided for free, aiming at families or users with multiple mobile devices.
Device benefits
To incentivise customer loyalty, the 5G Unlimited+ Plans provide monthly DeviceDollars. These credits can be used to offset device purchases, making handset upgrades more accessible at a time convenient for the customer, rather than on a fixed contract cycle.
Scam protection
A key feature is 24/7 ScamSafe protection. All calls and messages are automatically screened for scams to provide an additional layer of security for users. This measure is intended to address growing concerns over mobile scam risks in Singapore.
Customer assurance
StarHub states that the new plans are designed to address long-standing trade-offs customers often face between flexibility, convenience and security. The firm claims that users no longer have to choose between these aspects because the package of features is included as standard.
Customers can sign up for the new 5G Unlimited+ Plans via the StarHub app, retail locations or online portal. The company expects the plans to appeal to digitally connected users seeking clarity, convenience, and security in one package.
