TBH has appointed Brittany Lam as a Director in its Asia team, based in Singapore.

Lam will work across the firm's Strategic Advisory practice in the region, focusing on supporting investors, lenders and developers with transaction advisory, technical due diligence and major capital investment decisions.

Her appointment comes as investment in data centres, energy projects and industrial infrastructure continues across Asia, driving demand for independent technical and commercial advice on project readiness and risks that could affect returns and delivery.

Lam brings more than 16 years of experience across investment, consulting and technical advisory. Her work has covered data centres, renewable energy, water, critical minerals and major industrial developments, as well as advisory work for public and private sector organisations.

Before joining TBH, she advised investors, lenders and developers in Asia and other markets on acquisitions and financing processes, including more than 2GW of hyperscale data centre projects.

Regional demand

TBH has built a strategic advisory presence around large capital projects, combining technical and commercial analysis with its work in planning, cost, risk and project delivery. Lam's background in lenders' technical advisory and technical due diligence will strengthen its support for clients from early-stage investment decisions through to financial close and delivery.

Her Singapore-based appointment also reflects the importance of South East Asia as a hub for project finance, infrastructure development and cross-border investment. Demand for data centre capacity has risen across several Asian markets as cloud providers, digital platforms and enterprise customers expand their regional operations, while energy and industrial projects continue to attract institutional and strategic capital.

Since 2010, TBH has worked on more than 100 hyperscale data centre projects across the Asia-Pacific region. This activity forms part of a broader consultancy business established in Australia in 1965, with operations spanning Oceania, Asia and the Middle East.

Stuart Cassie, Partner & Global Advisory Lead at TBH, said the appointment reflected changing client needs in Asia's infrastructure and digital asset markets.

"Asia is seeing significant investment across data centres, energy and other major infrastructure. Clients increasingly need independent advice that brings together the commercial and technical realities of those investments," said Stuart Cassie, Partner & Global Advisory Lead, TBH.

He added that Lam's mix of finance, technical advisory and delivery experience would deepen the firm's regional and international advisory bench.

"Brittany has advised on some of the region's most significant transactions and brings a rare combination of finance, technical advisory and project delivery experience. Her appointment strengthens our Strategic Advisory capability in Asia and globally, and further enhances our ability to support investors, lenders and developers from the earliest stages of due diligence right through to construction and operations," Cassie said.

Lam's experience spans both the commercial assessment of investments and the practical issues tied to project execution. This includes identifying risks that may affect financing, testing whether projects are ready to proceed and assessing technical factors that can influence delivery outcomes.

For firms involved in infrastructure and digital assets, these questions have become more prominent as projects grow in scale and complexity. Lenders and investors also face greater scrutiny over timelines, construction assumptions, supply chain exposure and operational readiness before committing capital.

Lam will help clients navigate these issues across transactions and delivery decisions in Asia, where demand for specialist advice has increased alongside investment volumes.
