Telecom looks within for new CFO

Telecom New Zealand has announced that Nick Olson has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1st.

Olson has been with the firm since 2002 where he began as Treasurer before moving up to General Manager Finance and most recently Group Controller.

Olson has also been in the CFO role in an acting capacity since 2008.

“I am particularly delighted that Nick has been successful after a competitive international search. His appointment reflects positively on our efforts to develop talent within Telecom," said Paul Reynolds, Telecom CEO. "Nick brings intellect, drive and integrity to the role.”
