CelcomDigi has opened pre-orders for Samsung's new Galaxy S26 smartphone range in Malaysia, offering device financing, trade-in incentives and bundled mobile plan options tied to its postpaid 5G plans.
The line-up includes the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26. Customers can pre-order through CelcomDigi and take the devices on instalment plans of up to 36 months.
The phones are available via CelcomDigi's Easy360 financing plan, which offers up to 36 months of 0% interest instalments with no upfront payment. CelcomDigi said the offer also includes device deals, complimentary device protection and additional trade-in value.
Pre-order customers buying the Galaxy S26 Ultra can save up to RM2,443. The package also includes three months of PhoneCARE device protection and up to RM500 in additional value for customers who trade in an existing device.
Some pre-order customers are also eligible for a gaming accessory bundle. CelcomDigi is offering a free Backbone One - PlayStation Edition mobile gaming controller with case, listed at a recommended retail price of RM728, on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last. Eligibility requires purchase of the Spring Roam Pass.
Device features
Samsung is positioning the Galaxy S26 family around on-device artificial intelligence and new display features. It has introduced what it describes as its most proactive and adaptive Galaxy AI, designed to simplify and enhance everyday tasks.
The Galaxy S26 series also includes what Samsung calls the industry's first built-in Privacy Display for mobile devices, which it described as a milestone in display innovation.
At the top of the line-up, the Galaxy S26 Ultra includes a customised chipset and an advanced thermal management system, which Samsung said delivers faster AI performance. It also called the handset its slimmest Ultra design to date.
Plan bundles
CelcomDigi is linking the handset launch to its postpaid portfolio, saying the Galaxy S26 series experience is "further elevated when paired with the latest CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G and CelcomDigi ONE plans". The operator framed the proposition around network reach, speed and security.
Malaysia's mobile market remains competitive as operators seek to differentiate through handset bundles, financing options and value-added services such as device protection and trade-in programmes. For carriers, high-end smartphone launches often serve as a key moment to drive postpaid sign-ups and contract renewals.
Pre-orders are open until 10 March. Customers who prefer to buy in person can purchase the Galaxy S26 series at CelcomDigi Stores nationwide from 11 March.
CelcomDigi is Malaysia's largest mobile network operator by subscriber base, with more than 20.6 million users. The company was formed through the combination of Celcom and Digi and has focused on integrating network assets, retail distribution and customer services under a single brand.
CelcomDigi said customers can pre-order the "highly anticipated" Galaxy S26 series and pair it with its postpaid 5G and CelcomDigi ONE plans, with financing and device protection options for those looking to spread the cost over time.
