Ondas unveils unified defence tech at Singapore Airshow

Wed, 28th Jan 2026

Ondas said it will launch a unified defence and security portfolio at the Singapore Airshow, bringing together autonomous surveillance, counter-drone systems, and unmanned platforms under a single command-and-control layer.

The US-based company plans to present the portfolio at its stand at the show in Singapore. Ondas described the offer as modular and software-defined. It combines autonomous intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems with counter-unmanned aircraft systems, along with aerial and ground unmanned systems and decision-support software.

Ondas positioned the portfolio around lower-altitude threats and air-to-ground scenarios. The company said it targets defence users and public safety organisations.

Unified control

Ondas said it will demonstrate a command-and-control layer that links counter-drone systems and unmanned ground platforms into a single system. The firm described the approach as a "system-of-systems".

The company said its range includes autonomous drones, counter-drone sensors and effectors, and unmanned ground systems. It said the systems sit under central control via a software layer that manages decision logic.

Ondas also described an operational layer that provides situational awareness and detect-to-defeat workflows. It said the system supports autonomous responses.

Ondas said its defence and security portfolio covers several mission areas. These include protection of critical infrastructure and military assets, border security, on-the-move military operations, and public safety tasks.

Executive comments

The company framed the portfolio as an integrated command-and-control offer for multiple operating environments.

"Integrated command-and-cntrol systems provide commanders with a comprehensive, 360-degree view of the battlespace or urban area," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO, Ondas. "Our combat-proven unified command-and-control offering reflects Ondas' position as a premier defence-tech and security company, purpose-built for simultaneous operations and scalable responses."

Ondas also described the portfolio as a single platform that unifies robotics platforms, sensors, and effectors under one control layer.

"Ondas Defence and Security provide a single, comprehensive, and agile platform for operators on active missions, both homeland and defence-related," said Oshri Lugassy, Co-CEO, Ondas. "By integrating robotics platforms, sensors, and effectors under one autonomous command-and-control umbrella, we enable defence and security organisations today to detect, decide, and act faster and with more agility - delivering a smaller operational footprint and higher mission effectiveness."

Business units

Ondas operates across autonomous systems and private wireless technology. It said it works through business units including Ondas Autonomous Systems, Ondas Capital and Ondas Networks.

Within Ondas Autonomous Systems, the company cited several businesses and product lines. These include American Robotics, Airobotics, Apeiro Motion, and Sentry CS. Ondas said the unit offers the Optimus System, which it described as an FAA-certified small unmanned aircraft system for automated aerial security and data capture.

Ondas also referenced the Iron Drone Raider as an autonomous counter-UAS platform. It said Apeiro provides ground robotics and tethered UAV systems. It cited Sentrycs' Cyber-over-RF and protocol-manipulation counter-UAS technology.

Ondas Capital, which the company described as a planned business, will combine advisory services and strategic investment management services. The company said this unit will focus on scaling and deploying unmanned and autonomous systems in allied defence and security markets.

Ondas Networks provides a software-defined wireless broadband platform called FullMAX. Ondas said the platform is based on the IEEE 802.16t standard. The company said it targets mission-critical IoT connectivity in sectors that include rail, utilities, oil and gas, transportation, and government.

Singapore focus

Ondas framed its Singapore Airshow presence around demand for autonomous systems and multi-layered counter-drone measures. The company said its executives will discuss trends in defence and security innovation at the event.

Ondas said it will showcase the defence and security portfolio at Booth C-V93 at the Singapore Airshow.
