Telstra International appoints new Head of Wholesale

Telstra International has announced the appointment of Sarah Mills as the new Global Head of Wholesale, bringing her extensive expertise and leadership skills to the telecommunications company.

Sarah Mills joins Telstra International from Vodafone in the UK, where she previously led the Wholesale Fixed and Mobile Connectivity division. Her new role will see her based in Singapore, where she aims to leverage her 25 years of industry experience to strengthen Telstra International's position in the global wholesale market.

During her career, Sarah has served as Chief Revenue Officer for Neos Networks, a UK infrastructure business, where she managed both Enterprise and Wholesale sectors. She also held the position of Business Development Director at Telefonica Global Solutions, overseeing sales, commercial, and solution design teams across Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.

In her new role, she will focus on building on Telstra International's established leadership in subsea cable networks and data centre connectivity within the Asia Pacific region. "Telstra International has unrivalled network reach and footprint in subsea cabling in the Asia Pacific region, boosted by an established Cable Landing Station footprint and terrestrial Data Centre connectivity. We have a huge opportunity for exponential growth. The depth and breadth of experience that Telstra International brings to market, alongside the significant digital infrastructure capability positions us well to lead. There is increasing demand for robust connectivity, significant capacity and digital services and we are poised to meet this demand head-on," Sarah Mills, Head of Wholesale, Telstra International, commented on her new role.

Sarah will also prioritise customer focus, sustainable operations, and furthering diversity and inclusion within the company. Her customer-driven approach is expected to enhance Telstra's responsiveness to increasing global demands for connectivity and digital services.
