CelcomDigi adds Prime Video to StreamMORE in Malaysia

CelcomDigi has officially incorporated Prime Video into its comprehensive StreamMORE premium streaming portfolio, significantly broadening the diverse range of entertainment subscriptions accessible through its mobile services.

This strategic expansion ensures that both Postpaid and Prepaid customers can now facilitate seamless access to the platform's extensive catalogue of world-class movies and Amazon Original series through specialised add-on configurations.

To commemorate this launch, the telecommunications provider has introduced a promotional incentive where individuals who subscribe to the service between 16 December 2025 and 31 March 2026 will be entitled to a complimentary one-month free trial. Furthermore, the company is providing an exclusive supplementary benefit of 5GB of high-speed internet data for those who facilitate their subscription via the StreamMORE platform, ensuring a high-quality, high-definition streaming experience.

The subscription framework has been meticulously designed to provide maximum flexibility and value across different market segments.  Digital integration remains a primary focus of this rollout, with the entire subscription and activation process managed directly through the company's primary mobile applications. 

Subscription offers

CelcomDigi has officially introduced Prime Video as the latest addition to its StreamMORE premium streaming portfolio. To commemorate this launch, the telecommunications provider is offering a promotional incentive where customers who subscribe to the service via StreamMORE between 16 December 2024 and 31 March 2026 will receive a complimentary one-month free trial.

Furthermore, as a significant benefit for mobile users, the company is providing an additional 5GB of high-speed internet data specifically for those who facilitate their subscription through the StreamMORE platform. This supplementary data allocation is designed to enhance the streaming experience by ensuring sufficient bandwidth for high-definition content consumption.

Content catalogue

Prime Video offers a catalogue of films, series and live sports across mobile devices, tablets and smart TVs. CelcomDigi highlighted a mix of titles that it said are available on the service.

The list included Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and films such as Fallout, Heads of State, Reacher, Red One, Road House, The Accountant 2, The Boys, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and The Summer I Turned Pretty. CelcomDigi also pointed to licensed titles including John Wick and Challengers.

On sports programming, CelcomDigi referenced Prime member access to coverage including NBA. It also referenced sports documentaries including Bye Bye Barry, Kelce, and Earnhardt.

CelcomDigi also flagged Korean titles such as Surely Tomorrow, Nice to Not Meet You, Confidence Queen, Head Over Heels, and GOOD BOY. It named anime titles including Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen 0. It also cited local entertainment including That Cover Girl, Budak Flat, Imaginur, and Tebus.

StreamMORE strategy

CelcomDigi is positioning StreamMORE as a single place for customers to manage streaming subscriptions alongside mobile connectivity. The addition of Prime Video sits alongside the company's existing efforts to package entertainment services with mobile plans and add-ons.

In its announcement, CelcomDigi described StreamMORE as its premium streaming portfolio and said it plans to continue expanding the proposition.

CelcomDigi said Prime Video is available immediately through StreamMORE add-ons, with postpaid and prepaid bundles positioned as options for different viewing and data needs.
