Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison celebrates its 57th anniversary while reaffirming its commitment to becoming a key player in artificial intelligence technology in Indonesia.
The anniversary, themed "5emangat 7ransformasi," highlights the company's dedication to transformation, which is vital for success in industries such as telecommunications. Indosat has stated its intent to fully transition into an AI TechCo, promoting the advancement of AI technology across the nation.

Over the past year, Indosat has made significant strides towards becoming an AI TechCo by enhancing digital services through initiatives like the Digital Intelligence Operations Center. This facility uses AI to gain real-time insights and improve operational efficiency.
One notable event in Indosat's AI journey was Indonesia AI Day on 14 November, which explored AI's potential impact on the country's future. Notable speakers at the event included Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, and Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture, who discussed AI sovereignty and opportunities for Indonesia's digital economy.
In addition to AI Day, Indosat has collaborated with NVIDIA through Lintasarta to introduce GPU Merdeka, offering advanced GPU access for generative AI and machine learning applications. The company also hosted Banking AI Day to promote AI-driven innovation within the financial sector.
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Indosat launched IDCamp in partnership with UiPath. This programme aims to train and certify 100,000 digital talents globally, focusing on foundational AI courses.
Through these initiatives, Indosat is actively supporting the development of Indonesia's AI ecosystem, aiming to establish a sustainable and inclusive technological framework.
