NEC Malaysia wins Cisco service partner award for 2024

NEC Corporation of Malaysia has been recognised as the Cisco Service Provider Partner of the Year 2024, highlighting the capabilities and achievements of its Service Provider Solution (SPSL) unit.

NEC Malaysia's SPSL unit is distinguished for its proficiency in integrating Cisco's Mass Scale Infrastructure (MSI), ensuring high-performance, scalable solutions for various business requirements from telecommunications to enterprise operations. The SPSL unit is known for its specialised expertise in Multi-Operator Core Network (MOCN) integration, Multi-Vendor Integration (MVI), and 5G Security, providing secure and seamless 5G communication to its clientele.

NEC Malaysia is a Cisco Global System Integrator Partner, certified in Telco Networks, Enterprise Networks, and Cybersecurity. This partnership enables NEC Malaysia to deploy Cisco Telco Network Solutions across its operations, supporting telco operators and multinational firms globally through industry best practices and global frameworks.

In March 2024, in collaboration with NEC Asia Pacific, NEC Malaysia launched the Intelligent Center Operations of NEC (ICON) in Johor. ICON serves as a focal point for customer service enhancement, providing Managed Services and hosting both a Security Operations Center (SOC) and a Network Operations Center (NOC).
