Seoul Semiconductor enhances network with AI platform
Seoul Semiconductor has implemented Juniper Networks' AI-Native Networking Platform to enhance its wired and wireless access services.
Juniper Networks announced that Seoul Semiconductor has deployed its AI-Native Networking Platform, primarily driven by the Mist AI engine. This implementation aims to provide enhanced productivity for employees while decreasing operational expenses across the company.
Established in 1992, Seoul Semiconductor has a track record of innovation in lighting technology, securing over 18,000 patents globally. The company serves more than 1,000 customers, including some of the largest automobile manufacturers, producing products from factories located in four countries.
The company identified the need to replace its existing legacy network systems to alleviate limitations in data throughput and coverage, and to overcome vendor lock-in inefficiencies. By opting for Juniper's solutions, Seoul Semiconductor aims to introduce scalable agility, automation, and assurance to its operations.
The Mist AI technology, integral to Juniper's platform, provides real-time monitoring, automated settings, operational management, and identifies root causes of network failures. Seoul Semiconductor has expressed that this technology has reduced manual troubleshooting tasks substantially by converting insights into automated actions, thereby enhancing IT and user experiences.
According to the company, the inclusion of the Marvis Virtual Network Assistant in Seoul Semiconductor's network management infrastructure allows the IT team to address networking issues via a conversational interface. This system leverages the right data, infrastructure, and real-time responses to provide optimum experiences for both operators and end-users.
Jinho Lee, Principal Engineer at Seoul Semiconductor, stated, "Modern enterprises are evolving into spaces where collaboration across various departments and mobility within work processes are fundamental.
"For any company like ours, where extensive workspaces and complex processes coexist, it's crucial to maintain uninterrupted network-based operations. Juniper's AI-Native Networking Platform has minimized disruptions and blind spots, offering cloud-based management to oversee all potential network incidents," Lee says.
"We are committed to enhancing the workplace experiences of our employees, which will enable improved efficiency all while fostering a secure corporate environment."
According to KB Chai, Country Manager for Korea at Juniper Networks, "Seoul Semiconductor, as a global leader in the LED sector, exemplifies the synergy between advanced technological prowess and stable infrastructure.
"With Juniper's AI-Native Networking Platform, it has realized a highly stable work environment with robust network monitoring, alongside the flexibility to integrate with mixed-vendor equipment and supporting long-term scalability," Chai says.
"Juniper Networks remains focused on delivering customized solution features that provides seamless networking experiences for our clients on their journey to success."
